Charles and Matt and Gregg are joined by Dr. Shadd Maruna for the second part of our discussion of how our society labels those in the criminal justice system and processes them out of society. The group then envision rituals of reintegration that will heal and reconnect. Shadd is Dean of the School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University and is one of the world's leading criminology researchers, particularly on re-entry. Shadd is author of the book "Making Good: How Ex-Convicts Reform and Rebuild Their Lives." He joins the podcast from Ireland.
