Charles, Matt and Gregg are joined again by Jonathan Russell, Chaplain at the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, to discuss the challenges of ending homelessness, the difficulty of finding transformation on Skid Row, and how he has learned to hope in the face of hopelessness. Jonathan Russell is the former lead guitarist and songwriter for the popular band Cold War Kids. He left the band in 2011 and currently serves as Chaplain at the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, which is the largest homeless program in the United States, having been founded 125 years ago.
