Charles and Matt, and Gregg are joined in an encore episode by Dr. Shadd Maruna for an inspiring discussion of how our society labels those in the criminal justice system and processes them out of the community. The group then envision rituals of reintegration that will heal and reconnect. Shadd is now Professor of Criminology at the University of Manchester is one of the world's leading criminology researchers, particularly on re-entry. Shadd is the author of the book "Making Good: How Ex-Convicts Reform and Rebuild Their Lives." He joins the podcast from Ireland.
